Renee is a lawyer that started practicing as a litigator in Big Law in 2009 after receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and Juris Doctor from the College of William & Mary School of Law. Since then she started her own construction law firm where she serves builders, remodelers, architects, subcontractors, and others in the construction industry.
Renee trained as an apprentice with a prominent Pittsburgh labor Arbitrator for a period of 18-months. During that time she worked on a variety of matters covering interest arbitration, grievance arbitration and job evaluations. Experience includes both Pennsylvania Interest proceedings under Acts 88, 111, and 195 and determining grievances under collective bargaining agreements. Grievance issues included disciplinary actions, including discharge, job evaluations and contract interpretation cases involving issues such as: subcontracting, bargaining unit certifications, vacancies and bidding, scheduling, and pension entitlements. Since completing her apprenticeship, Renee has continued to expand her experience by serving as a job evaluation arbitrator and handling cases through the Pennsylvania Bureau of Mediation.
